Head of Schools / Director
Christopher Carmona-Woodard is a passionate and accomplished educator who brings both heart and expertise to CarWood Heritage Preparatory. A proud graduate of Hitchcock High School, Christopher’s leadership journey began early as a two-time collegiate cheerleader, Top Gun Award recipient, and an impressive seven-time NCA All-American Cheerleader for Hitchcock.
He continued his educational journey by earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, and a Post-Master’s Certification in K–12 Educational Leadership.
Christopher’s dedication to student growth and development is reflected through his experience as a Special Education EC–12 Teacher at Brazoswood High School, where he worked to support and empower diverse learners academically, socially, and emotionally. As the owner of Army Cheer & Dance Academy and Royal Academy of Dance & Cheer—both nationally recognized programs—Christopher has inspired countless children to dream big, work hard, develop confidence, and strive for excellence.
In addition, his five years as a licensed foster care provider demonstrate his deep commitment to nurturing, supporting, and advocating for children from all backgrounds and experiences.
